Who I Am
I’m a designer from San Diego currently based in Columbia, South Carolina, where I’m studying Visual Communications at the University of South Carolina. My path to design wasn’t exactly straightforward. I originally spent a year and a half studying mechanical engineering before realizing it wasn’t where my passion was. I decided to pursue something that better combined my interests and strengths: design and visual media. I’ve always had a detail-oriented, analytical, and sometimes mathematical way of thinking, but I’m equally drawn to the creative emotion and storytelling that visual communication can create. I’m especially fascinated by space, science fiction, and the future, which often influences my design style and gives my work a futuristic edge, but I love learning about all genres and designing things in new ways.
I bring a combination of creative thinking and analytical problem-solving to every project. I care about the small details while keeping the bigger idea and purpose in focus. I’m comfortable exploring different styles and approaches, and I enjoy finding new ways to turn an idea into something visually engaging and meaningful. Whether I’m working on illustration, layout, infographics, photography, or video, I bring curiosity, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for creating work that connects with people.
